The Program
Independent Grounds Coffee House enrolls students in a program that provides a structured training curriculum. This program works towards developing the vocational and social skills required for finding and keeping meaningful employment after high school.
Independent Grounds is a fully functioning coffee cart, and is created specifically to be a work-study program for adolescents with developmental and other disabilities living in Charleston, SC.
